Oh no!  You've been transplanted!  You just retired!  Just moved to the Columbus area?  Missing old friends?  Don't have a clue where to find new ones? Come, join us at our luncheons or coffees.  You will find a warm welcome, delicious food, where your new friends are waiting. It's a great opportunity to meet and visit with others who have also been recently new to the greater Columbus area. The Club is a not-for-profit social organization with a variety of activities.  Its purpose is to bring together new neighbors of the city to meet and become friends while adjusting to their new surroundings.

Membership  

Membership in the New Neighbors League of Columbus is open to new residents of all ages who have moved to the Greater Columbus area.  We also welcome members who have lived in Columbus longer than one year who are interested in meeting new people.

Fees 

The annual membership fee is $45.00, which includes an electronic subscription to the monthly newsletter, Capital Capers.  It will be due annually (based on when you joined) and is required to participate in NNLC activities.

Luncheons

The Columbus Chapter meets monthly for a luncheon and program at various restaurants around town.  This event is held on the second Tuesday of each month with a social hour beginning at 11:30 AM and luncheon beginning at noon.  The luncheon serves as a "meeting" for the general membership, informing the members of all Club activities and announcements.

The luncheon is open to all members, guests and prospective members and requires a reservation. Prospective members, please contact New Neighbors League at nnlcolumbus@yahoo.com.

Coffees  

Monthly coffees are held in various members' homes once a month (on the third Wednesday of each month from 10 AM-12 Noon). All members, guests and prospective members are invited to attend.  This is a very friendly, informal way to meet some of our members and learn more about the club while beginning to make some lasting friendships.

Bad Weather Policy  Bad Weather Policy: If school closings are occurring in your area or the area of the event, NNLC activities may be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation, all members will be notified by email at least 2 hours prior to the activity start time.
